Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian. He is a skilled footballer who plays as a forward for the Egyptian national group and the Premier League club ‘Liverpool.’
Mohamed Salah was born in Gharbia, Egypt on 15th of June 1992, to average middle class parents. H wasn’t great in studies, which stressed his parent. Mohamed took a stab at finding the correct harmony between his studies and football and ignored academics. Football became top his priority from his earliest days and to his youth. His parents wanted a conventional career for him, but Salah knew football was his calling.
He started his professional career in 2008, when he made his debut for Cairo-based side EI Mokawaloon at the age of 17. It was far from the place where he grew up and he needed to change five buses to reach his school, which hurt his studies. However, his dedication to football kept him focused.
In May 2010, at 18 years of age, he was finally selected to represent the senior group of his club. Initially, Salah played as a substitute player, but so impressed were the national selectors with his the Mountain Wolves performance, he was called up by Egypt for the U20 World Cup in 2011, and got his name on the score sheet with a penalty against Argentina.
Muhammad Salah married married Magi on 17th December, 2013. He had a great wedding in his hometown Ngrig. On his big day, he wore a keen tuxedo to his wedding, while his bride dressed conservatively. Salah’s family had issued an open invitation to the town’s general public on the day of the wedding and thousands attended. Famous Egyptian Singers like Hamada Hilal Abd Albasit Hamouda,and Sa’as Al Sughayar came and sang at Salah’s wedding.
Salah played a vital part in Basel’s 2012-13 ‘Swiss Super League Championship’ win with an awesome performance in the Swiss Cup, where his team were the runners up. At the start of the following season, Salah was a part of the Basel squad that won the ‘Uhren Cup.’
In February 2014, Salah appeared for Chelsea in the ‘Premier League’ against ‘Newcastle United’ and scored his first goal against Arsenal a month later. Prior to the start of the 2014-15 season, Chelsea agreed to Salah going back to Egypt to finish his compulsory National service but the Egyptian premier exempted him and allowed him to join the Italian club ‘Fiorentina’ .
On February 14, he made his debut for the club, and toward the finish of the season, Salah showed hesitance in returning to ‘Fiorentina’ and joined the Series A group ‘A.S. Roma’.
In June 2017, Salah signed a long term contract with Liverpool for 50 million pounds, which was a club record. He, subsequently, became Liverpool’s first Egyptian player and made his presence felt in a game against ‘Watford.’ In August Salah was named as ‘Player of the Month’ by Liverpool fans.
He got his first hat-trick for ‘Liverpool’ in the match against ‘Waterford’ scoring 4 goals for his team and securing a 5-0 victory for it. Not much later he emerged as his team’s top goal scorer with 36 goals.
Mohamed Salah is a devout Muslim and after every goal he scores, he performs sujood in praise of God’s blessings. His fans are known to have said that if Salah continues scoring goals the way he does, they would convert to Islam.
